I'm so sorry to find out you have passed on. You really brighten up my day when you would come to BK in the mornings. I'm sad you didn't get to move to north Carolina and golf like you had planned. It won't be the same walking by your house knowing your not there. Rest in peace my friend. Your smile will be missed.

Martin and I were more than just business partners throughout his career in logistics but also close friends who were planning to get married and relocate so we could both enjoy another 10 plus years together.
He was my harshest critic in business and my beloved friend in life.
I am devastated by the loss of this wonderful man.

Bud was my brother in-law and uncle to my sons and grandchildren. He was apart of our live since he first met my sister many years ago. We spent many years at the beach in the summer with Bud entertaining the kids doing cannon balls into the pool. He never forgot a birthday or a special occasion with the boys, the annual golf games they talked about for years even after he came home with a fat lip from a run away shot that hit him square in he mouth.. He tag sale with my husband and one time came home with a horse drawn sled they purchased together as my husband didn't have the $25.00 he a needed after harassing the owner to sell the $2000.00 sled for $25.00. He was Godfather to my grandson and confirmation sponsor for another. He was loved and will be missed by his Connecticut family. Carol Crisci

We miss you so much Buddy. We became neighbors, friends and like family in 1987 when Buddy and Marybeth moved to their home in Budd Lake. Like Buddy said to me just a few days before he left us, we couldn’t have asked for better neighbors. Bud loved it here. He loved his fish pond and took so much pride in it until a bad winter took all his fish and he just couldn’t do it anymore. He missed Marybeth so much and now they’re together again. Bud was a good man and a gentle man with quite a sense of humor! He will be and is already missed tremendously.
Love and Miss you forever,
John & Angie Presco and family

Martin and I attended a few New York Giants football games at old giant stadium and he was extra happy this one particular day. Maybe a few extra adult beverages, When he started telling a
Martin story and unfortunately, he had an upset stomach and explelled some projectiles and Said "I can't believe I just threw up in front of Andy and Alvin". I say correction, my friend, you threw up on Andy and or Alvin. We all had those games where we had one too many before the start of it. He wasn't done there. He then became club footed and tripped over a curb and fell into the biggest guy at Giants stadium, not dressed up in a uniform. After calming Martin, the ninja, down, We went into Giants stadium, I went my way and he went and sat down in field box seats with a whole bunch of Shipping big wigs. He was truly one of a kind and a friend of mine. Peace and love my friend. Mikey B.

I interviewed with Martin at Spectra Gases 22 years ago. He didn't want me and passed me off to Ted Neeme because he said I was too qualified for his department. It was a standing joke for years.
We had our fair share of confrontations and laughs over the years but what I loved about him was he was quick to respond when I asked him if he would judge a high school band competition. He loved being in the drum corps.
May he be marching to his beat in eternal happiness.

I worked with Martin for very many years, first at Spectra Gases and later after we were bought out by Linde. He was a good soul, someone I enjoyed working with - even if he could be a bit crusty at times.
