BOONTON TOWNSHIP---Zygmunt W. "Ziggy" Kobylinski died Monday, September 26, 2011 at his home following a long illness. He was 72.

Born in Gdynia, Poland, he came to this country in 1965, settling in Passaic. He had lived in Boonton Township for the past 41 years.

Mr. Kobylinski was a production engineer with BioChem Corp., Boonton for 6 years before retiring for health reasons in 1999.

He was a parishioner at Saints Cyril & Methodius Church, Boonton.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Teresa (nee Stanczykowska); two sons, Artur Z. of Boonton Township and Robert B. of Rockaway Township; a step-daughter, Bozena Hatala of Poland; a sister, Daniela Marek of Philadelphia, PA; three cherished grandchildren, Evan, Trevor and Morgan; two step-grandsons and one great step-grandson.

A Memorial Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, September 30th at 2:00 P.M. at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, 215 Hill St., Boonton with the interment of his cremated remains to follow at the parish cemetery.

There will be no hours of visitation.
