DENVER, CO---Edith (Samuels) Schwartz died Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the Porter Hospice, Centennial, CO following a brief illness. She was 83.

Born in Bronx, NY, she lived for many years in Lake Hiawatha, NJ, then Deerfield Beach, FL before moving to Denver 10 years ago.

Mrs. Schwartz was a homemaker.

Her husband, Ira, died in 2005.

She is survived by a son, Edward Schwartz and his wife Jean of Stanhope and a daughter, Andrea Mueller and her husband John of Parker, CO. Also surviving are her cherished grandchildren, Jared, Nichole, Rachel, Matthew and Julie.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 15th at 11:15 A.M. at Mount Ararat Cemetery, East Farmingdale, NY.
