Glenn J. Colello Obituary

Glenn J. Colello, 68, of Boonton, NJ, formerly of Weehawken, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 19, 2023.

Born in Jersey City, NJ to Elaine (Jacobs) and Louis V. Colello, he would go on to become a contractor, creating his own company, GC General Contractor Co. Glenn’s passion was carpentry and in his free time he loved to tinker. He had a big heart, especially with strangers, always trying to help someone in need if he could. Glenn spent most of his time working and that’s where he found comfort.

He is survived by his long-time girlfriend, Joann Lonero; his son, Sean Colello and his wife, Erin Chack; his daughter, Michele Curtin and her husband Vincent; his sister, Karen Colello; his brother, Gary Colello; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 26th at 9:00am at Codey & Mackey Funeral Home of Boonton.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Catherine of Siena R.C. Church in Mountain Lakes at 10:30am.  Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Glenn's memory can be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital. To share a condolence with the family, please visit www.CodeyMackeyFH.com.
