Obituary of Richard Bruce Miglin

Richard Bruce Miglin, 77, of Mount Arlington, NJ passed away Friday, June 9, 2023.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 12th from 4:00 to 7:00pm at Codey & Mackey Funeral Home in Boonton. The Prayer Service will be at 7:00pm.

Richard was predeceased by his parents, and his brothers, Edward and Walter Miglin. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carol (Guttridge) Miglin; his children, Sandra Palazzo and her husband, Jim; Brian Miglin; Jessica Miglin and her husband, Shehan Rahman; and Jaclyn Prendergast and her husband, Sean; his grandchildren, Danny and Leanne Palazzo; Gavin and Farrah Prendergast; and Aidan and Zain Rahman; his sister, Ellie Delucchi; and his brother, James R. Miglin and his wife, Cathy.

Richard was born in November 1945 in Morristown to Walter and Irene (Rusnak) Miglin, one of 5 children. He grew up in Montville. Before retiring he was an electrical sales manager for Boonton Electric Supply for many years.

Richie was the kind of person that everyone loved to be around. He was friendly, funny and welcoming. He enjoyed hobbies such as hunting with his friends, boating in Lake George, NY, barbecues and just being the life the party. He will be forever missed by many.
