Obituary of Bonnie-Gay Crocetti

Please share a memory of Bonnie-Gay to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Bonnie-Gay Crocetti of Boonton Township, New Jersey left us on September 27, 2021, at the age of 83. We would like to remember our mother and pay tribute to her.

Bonnie was born in Orange, New Jersey to Walter and Elenor (Damon) Burchardt. She lived in Boonton before moving to Boonton Township in 1953. After graduating from Boonton High School she married her high school sweetheart, Robert E. Crocetti. Bonnie stayed at home and raised their children – a job she was thrilled to do. She was also a member of the Boonton Township Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Bonnie was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed crafting, watching her favorite soap operas and dancing. She also loved animals and enjoyed watching the birds and animals that visited her yard. Bonnie was an avid reader and especially enjoyed mystery and horror novels.

Bonnie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert and great-grandson, Lucas. She left behind her daughter, Debbie Kapral and they are now together in Heaven (2022). She also left behind her son, Robert Crocetti, Jr. and his wife Dawn of Rockaway Township, and her daughter, Amy Engler and her husband Christopher of Mount Arlington; grandchildren, Holly Nazzaro and her husband David, Maggie William and her fiancé Devon Jeffreys, Nicholas Crocetti and Brian Crocetti; great-grandchild Peter; and many friends.

Gone is our mother’s light, love, and laughter and we will miss her terribly and keep her memory alive.
