Obituary of Suzanne Chase Kida

Suzanne C. Kida (Small), 73 of Boonton Township, NJ, died suddenly on Sunday, November 13, 2022.

Suzi, as she was known, was born in Pearl River, NY to Chase and Ann (Shaw) Small in November 1949.
Her family lived in Closter when she was very young before moving to Boonton where she attended
school. After graduating from Boonton High School, Suzi went to the University of Miami before starting
her family.

Suzi’s life revolved around her family and happily so. She loved nothing more than spending time with
her “people”, never missing a sporting event or any family gathering. Suzi’s favorite week of the year was
“the Gordon Week” down on Long Beach Island celebrating being together. When she did take time for
herself, Suzi enjoyed drawing, her annual Broadway show and dinner with her children and
grandchildren, sleepovers with the grandkids, and her annual trip to St. Martin with her husband, Kenny.
She was a longtime fan of General Hospital and please don’t call during Jeopardy!

Predeceased by her son, Gordon Liberatore, and her parents; Suzi is survived by her beloved husband,
Kenneth Kida; her cherished daughter, Samantha George (Gregory); her adored sons, Peter Liberatore,
Christopher Liberatore (Carly), and Scott Kida (Kylie); her much-loved grandchildren, Emily, Anna,
Robert, Luca, and Owen; her sisters, Eliza McCombs (Jim) and Stephanie Small (Mohammed); her first husband, Lucio Liberatore; her niece and nephews, Marcy, Jim, and Frank; and many friends.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 26, at 11:30 am at First Presbyterian Church of
Boonton, 513 Birch St., Boonton, NJ. All are invited and encouraged to continue the celebration of Suzi’s
life at the Knoll Golf Club - West, 990 Green Bank Road, Boonton, NJ.
