Leasia Ann Salgado, 58 of Parsippany, NJ passed away on December 28, 2021 unexpectedly.  

Leasia was born in 1963 to Walter and Ruby (Baker) Darnstaedt and grew up in Parsippany. Leasia met the love of her life, Michael Salgado and they married in 1982 and raised three beautiful children.

Leasia was very proactive with her children's interests. She was known for running the concession stand for the Little Vikings Football program for many years. Leasia was devoted to her husband and children. Family was everything to her.

Predeceased by her parents, Leasia is survived by her beloved husband, Michael; her cherished daughter, Amy Chiappa and her husband, Christopher; her loving sons, Michael Jr. and Jared; her adored grandson, Gunner and another grand baby on the way. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 2nd from 1:00 to 4:00pm at Codey & Mackey Funeral Home in Boonton.
