Obituary of Wilbert E. Bailey

DOVER---Wilbert E. Bailey died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at St. Clares Hospital, Dover following a brief illness. He was 89. Born in Butler, he lived in Boonton for many years before moving to Dover 23 years ago. Mr. Bailey was a foreman at Boonton Molding Company, Boonton for 25 years before retiring in 1985. His wife, Helen Repiscak Bailey, died in 1988. He is survived by two daughters, Helen Gomez and her husband William of Dover and Carolyn Pickett of Denville; two sons, Wilbert D. and his wife June of Anson, ME and Richard and his wife Peggy of Branchville; a dear friend, Harriet Furey of Mine Hill; nine cherished grandchildren, Samara, Jason, Tracy, Marc, Kelly, Brett, Cole, Renee and Sharon and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 3rd at 10:00 A.M. at the Mackey Funeral Home (mackeyfh.com), 107 Essex Ave., Boonton with interment to follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Thursday (today) from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
