Avis M. Byfield, 59, passed away on Dec. 15, 2020, following her daughter, Eva A. Byfield, 32, on Dec. 1, 2020, both of Dover, NJ, from Covid-19.
Avis was born in Jeffrey Town, Saint Mary, Jamaica to Henry and Eva (Onfroy) Hudson. She received an Associate's degree in Sociology. She was an inspector at Howmet Aerospace, Dover.
Avis is survived by her husband, Winston Byfield, Sr.; daughter Hephzibah; son Winston, Jr.; sister Amanda; and brothers Cecil and Noel Hudson.
Visitation is Tuesday, January 19, 2021, 10:00AM to 1:00PM at Codey and Mackey Funeral Home, Boonton. Burial to follow at 2:00PM at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
