Valerie Ann Kominiak, 85, of Morris Plains, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 15, 2020.
Born in Scranton, PA to the late Adam and Irene (Oustrich) Buchek, Valerie was raised in Boonton and attended Boonton High School before earning her Bachelor's degree from William Paterson College. She started her career as a secretary with the Boonton School System and became a teacher and stayed within the district.
Valerie married Joseph A. Kominiak and enjoyed 47 years of marriage before his passing in 2002.
Predeceased by her parents and her beloved husband, Valerie survived by her cherished children, Keith J. (Barbra) Kominiak; Craig J. (Sue) Kominiak; and Lisa M. (Michael) Snure; her loving sisters, Patricia Brennan, Paulette Visioli and Kathy Aquino; her five grandsons, Michael (Cheri) Snure, Todd (Layla) Kominiak, Gregory (Alison) Snure, Troy Kominiak and Tyler Kominiak; her three great grandsons, Grayson, Gavin and Leo; and several nieces and nephews.
