Obituary of Clarence H. Allen

BOONTON---Clarence H. Allen died Saturday, April 30, 2011 at St. Clare's Hospital, Denville following a brief illness. He was 90. Born in St. Louis, MO, he lived in Chicago for many years before moving to Boonton 35 years ago. Mr. Allen was a national service manager with Panasonic Corp., Secaucus for 17 years before retiring in 1986. He had previously been employed with RCA in St. Louis and Chicago. He was a member of the Boonton United Methodist Church and the Euclid Lodge #505 F & AM, St. Louis. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Fern (nee Sieveking); two daughters, Nella L. Daniels of Pine Bush, NY and Shirley J. Allen of Boonton; a son Daryl C. Allen and his wife Kathy of Bellefonte, PA and two grandchildren, Gregory Allen and Stephanie Allen. Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 25th at 11:00 A.M. at the Boonton United Methodist Church with inurnment to follow at the church columbarium. There will be no hours of visitation.
