BOONTON---Clarence H. Allen died Saturday, April 30, 2011 at St. Clare's Hospital, Denville following a brief illness. He was 90. Born in St. Louis, MO, he lived in Chicago for many years before moving to Boonton 35 years ago. Mr. Allen was a national service manager with Panasonic Corp., Secaucus for 17 years before retiring in 1986. He had previously been employed with RCA in St. Louis and Chicago. He was a member of the Boonton United Methodist Church and the Euclid Lodge #505 F & AM, St. Louis. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Fern (nee Sieveking); two daughters, Nella L. Daniels of Pine Bush, NY and Shirley J. Allen of Boonton; a son Daryl C. Allen and his wife Kathy of Bellefonte, PA and two grandchildren, Gregory Allen and Stephanie Allen. Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 25th at 11:00 A.M. at the Boonton United Methodist Church with inurnment to follow at the church columbarium. There will be no hours of visitation. Memorial contributions in Clarence's name may be made to either the NJ Special Olympics, ATTN: Web Gifts, 3 Princess Rd., Lawrenceville, NJ 08648 or the Boonton United Methodist Church, 626 Lathrop Ave., Boonton, NJ 07005.
