Obituary of Martha Eleanor VanOrden

BOONTON---Eleanor (Conn) VanOrden died Friday, February 11, 2011 at her home following a brief illness. She was 94. Born in Boonton Township, she lived in Boonton most of her life. Mrs. VanOrden was an electronics technician at Aircraft Radio Corp., Boonton Township for 40 years before retiring in 1978. She was a former member of the Boonton United Methodist Church. Her husband, Carl, died in 1988. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Richard Conn, Duane Conn, Chester Conn, Beulah Johnson and Constance Johnson. She is survived by two sisters, Geraldine Glodek of Boonton and Elaine Wilkins of Newton. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 16th at 10:30 A.M. at the Mackey Funeral Home (mackeyfh.com), 107 Essex Ave., Boonton with interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.
