What a beautiful video for a wonderful family. It is not very often that I know and still keep in touch with a Family for so many years in my profession. I have known your family for 40 some years and we have had many conversations. Your Mother was one of the funniest, craziest, and wittiest people I have ever known. To this day I can still remember her walking through the store munching on peanuts... no peanut allergies back then!! She was always hungry after her hard day at work, but she would always stop for a quick conversation about the Clare's, believe me I think she knew more than I did. Sorry for your loss, she will be missed. Drew from Shop-Rite

My condolences to the Franklin Family during this difficult time of loss. I started as a young teenager with Pat at FISHER-STEVENS in Totowa NJ. Pat was a very FUN and CHARISMATIC person. I will always have a lot of special memories working with Pat (especially "relieving" her on the switchboard!) all those years. SHE WILL TRULY BE MISSED.

That Voice.
Fondly Remembering Pat Franklin.
Oh that voice !
Whether in a matter of fact conversational tone, laced with clever sarcastic wit, or calling out at the top of her lungs to summon one of her children to a task to keep the train rolling, Pat's distinctive and unforgettable voice had such a wide range of tones, each uniquely adapted to circumstance, all unforgettable.
You couldn't spend very much time in Pat's presence without the conversation somehow reverberating resilience , encouragement, compassion, and laughter.
Remarkably, no matter what else was going on, a visit with Pat never ended without her turning the conversation to a concern for someone else and what was to be done, whether a card, a call or a visit, she had act of kindness on her list. And these concerns, too were expressed a distinctly unforgettable tone of voice.
It didn't matter if you were seated at the table or in the next room , Pat's voice, in conversation with others, rose above and drifted your way. To a kid running by, the boring and unending chatter of the adults, was as monotonous as the teachers voice in a Peanuts cartoon. Except for one. The tidbits from Pat's voice were loud and clear, bits of resilience, faith , wit , laughter, concern, and resolve drifted above the other voices. Even completely out of context, these many tones of voice made a lasting impression.
The sum of these morsels, only later on sunk in; boiling down to a few common themes: "You can handle this." "Keep going." "Laugh."
And , OH THAT LAUGH!
Unforgettable !

I have not met Patricia and have only heard of her legendary loving spirit through Eileen, Gary's wife. Reading her obituary really warmed my soul and I feel fortunate to have read it. It was beautifully written and read like a novel of Patricia's life. Thank you Patricia for all the light you continue to bring to the world.
Love and prayers to Gary and family.

I worked with Pat for many years at IMS and she never failed to make me smile. She was such a joy to see first thing in the morning. I will never forget taking a CPR and first aid class with her because she had the entire class in stitches. Good memories and it makes me sad that she is gone. Rest in Peace, Pat.
