JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP---Phyllis A. (nee Carman) Potter died Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Morristown Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She was 68.



Born in Morristown, she had lived in the Milton section of Jefferson Township for 44 years.



Mrs. Potter was a computer programmer with Hewlett-Packard Corp., Rockaway for 20 years before retiring in 2003.



She was a good cook and an excellent baker.



She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Norman; two sons, Kenneth of Milton and Mark of Wharton; two brothers, Warren E. Carman, Jr. of Palm Coast, FL and Timothy W. Carman of Andover, MA; three cherished grandchildren, Sarah, Jesse N. and Amber R. Potter and a great granddaughter, Amber M. Potter.



Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 9th at 10:30 A.M. at the Mackey Funeral Home (mackeyfh.com), 107 Essex Ave., Boonton with interment to follow at Rockaway Valley Cemetery, Boonton Township. Friend may call Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home
