Obituary of Marianne T DelGuercio

Marianne T. Del Guercio (Leone), age 80, of Montville, NJ, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2016. Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Marianne moved to Fairfield, NJ in 1960, where she raised her family and lived for nearly 40 years. In 1997, she moved to Montville. Marianne worked as an administrative assistant for several companies in Fairfield, where she was valued as a conscientious employee. Marianne was the loving mother of Linda and husband Francis Belusko, Laura and husband James Kelk, John and wife Maureen Del Guercio and Robert and wife Ayumi Del Guercio; as well as, her beautiful grandchildren, Lindsay, John, Shannon, Ray and Erin, whom she deeply treasured. Marianne is also survived by her beloved sister, Constance Smith, and dear sister- in-law, Carmella (Millie) Leone. She is predeceased by her parents Gasper (Casper) and Anna (Galiano) Leone, her brother Joseph Leone and her brother-in-law Kenneth Smith. She is also survived by many adored nieces, nephews and their children. Marianne loved spending time with her friends and family and was in turn revered for patience, generosity and kindness. Visitation will be held in the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ on Thursday, April 21 from 4 – 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Pius R.C. Church, 24 Changebridge Road, Montville on Friday, April 22 at 11:30am. The interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marianne's memory to "The Chelsea at Montville Holiday Fund", 165 Changebridge Road, Montville, NJ 07045.
