Obituary of Robert Roessler

Robert C. Roessler, 87, of Mountain Lakes, NJ, passed away at home on January 20, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Salem, Ohio to Keith and Hazel Roessler, Robert lived in many places, including Indonesia, Singapore, Great Britain and Belgium before settling in Mountain Lakes 43 years ago. Mr. Roessler was a graduate from Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio with a bachelor degree in business and from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a masters in finance. He traveled internationally as a financial controller for many companies including, Goodyear, Gillette, Revlon, GAF, retiring from Delbarton School, Morristown. Besides traveling in over 19 countries, Bob enjoyed reading, antiquing and spending time with his beloved wife of 60 years, Carol, and their family. Surviving are his devoted children Marcie Astin and Jennifer Reid; loving grandchildren Brad, Alex, Ryan, Elizabeth, Madeline, Daniel and Jolene; and cherished great grandchildren Avery, Brady, Ava, Alivia . He was predeceased by his wife, Carol Jane (Grindle) and his daughters, Nancy Hunt and Lisa Roessler Roy. A Funeral Service will be held in the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Ave, Boonton, NJ 07005 on Wednesday, January 27th at 11:00am. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
