Hello Family and Friends,
My name is Nicholas. Though you don't and Mr. Laue didn’t know me, I still feel compelled to offer my condolences. I lost my Father 20 years ago and the sense of lost is still there. So i know a little of how you feel and my prayers are with you.
I was really impressed with his desire to better the planet's environment. His being able to work in a field of which he was passionate was a blessing for him. Death is not natural and even after living a long life such as Mr. Laue did, its still never the time to leave!
What has helped comfort me greatly in my grief is the scripture at Revelation 21:3, 4 there it reads: With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them.+ 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes,+ and death will be no more,+ neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.+ The former things have passed away.”
And especially … Romans 5:28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice+ 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.+
This information about death being no more really intrigued me! I wanted to learn more. By studying the bible I learned that all those in the memorial grave will be resurrected back to earth!! I have continued to study and found out more facts that have built my faith that these things are going to happen in the near future. If you want to learn about this and how you can welcome back your dear loved one, Mr.Laue, please go to www.jw.org and look up "Resurrection Hope" and you will find scriptures in the bible that will change your life and bring you great comfort.... as it has myself.
Again, my deepest condolences...
Nicholas

Your dad was an amazing man!!! I am so glad I had the privilege of knowing him. He was so dedicated to his loving family! He was so passionate about everything he did; hiking, conservation and supporting research on FOP to find a treatment and a cure. His grandson, Ian has FOP and they shared a special, loving bond.
Peter has touch so many people's lives in a wonderful way and was always a ray of sunshine to your day. He has left all of us with great memories of times shared together.. We will all miss you, Peter!! You have made an extraordinary difference in our lives and in the world. Rest in Peace, my friend!
With Deepest Sympathy,
Jeannie Peeper

I worked with your dad at the Morris Land Conservancy. He always came into the
office with a smile. He introduced me to some wonderful trails at Split Rock
Reservoir & handled them with ease at his age. I remember my 1st canoe trip
on the Rockaway River in Boonton with him, it was fun.
I was amazed to see how he rigged the ropes in his garage to lower his canoe right
down to the roof of his car...he prided himself on being self-sufficient.
He was the Oak tree in the woods - - he'll be missed.
All his traits live on in you.
God Bless You
Iris

l would just like to say how sorry l am to hear of Peters death.
l sailed with Peter for many trips as 2nd engineer on the MV Greenpeace (Black Pig), and the Sirius and found Peter a real gentleman with a wealth of experience.
He was also a good friend which meant we went ashore together quite a lot and saw some memorable places together over the world.
Thankyou Peter

Dear Amanda, thank you for letting me know that your dear Dad had died, I had a real soft spot for him with his wonderful genuine smile and sunny, kindly nature. We probably only met about half a dozen times but I knew immediately that he was a lovely man who I should have liked to have know longer and got to know better.
You will be so sad just now and I send you my love, a big hug and the hope that you will be comforted and supported in your grief. Moya x

Although I did not know Peter, he sounds like a man who knew what he wanted to do. I grew up in Boonton Township myself and realized that there are many good people from Boonton and Denville that leave us too soon. My father died three years ago at the age of 90. He was a lifelong resident of Boonton and Boonton Township. So when we lose a loved one it is never easy. But when you realize how they lived it inspires us to live our lives so that our families will be proud of us. It is also important to remember that we owe our lives to God. He provides everything for us, it is ourselves that limit what or who we become. But those who have a profound respect and love for the Bible, will continue to read, study and draw closer to God by applying what the Bible says in our lives. The Bible can answer questions we may have about the condition of our loved ones. Such as this question: What hope do good people have for the future? The answer is found in John 5:28, 29. And this one: Where will most people who have died live after the resurrection? This answer is found at Psalm 37:29. I encourage you to read, study and apply God's word in your life.
