Obituary of Frank Crocetti

Frank Crocetti, 89, of Hellertown, PA, formerly a lifelong resident of Boonton, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 12, 2015. He was born at the family home of Nazzareno and Mary Ann Crocetti in Boonton – his hometown where he dedicated his life to his family and friends. Mr. Crocetti was a US Veteran, proudly serving in the US Navy during World War II. Frank was a dedicated volunteer in Boonton. He was a 50+ year member of the Boonton Fire Department Salvage and Rescue Company and a former Chief of the Department. He was also a 26 year member of the Boonton Board of Education, serving many years as President. Frank retired from the Montville School District, where he worked for 28 years as the plant facility manager. Frank never met a golf course he didn't like - he loved spending time hitting a golf ball, and was constantly working to improve his game. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, V. Jeanette (Smith); devoted children, Jacqueline Crocetti with her husband, Richard Roszkowski, Michael Crocetti and Wendy Crocetti; loving sisters, Virginia LaSalandra and Cecilia Francisco; cherished grandchildren, Beth, Emily and Michael; adored great granddaughter, Grace. He was predeceased by his brothers, Robert and Thomas Crocetti. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ 07005 on Tuesday, December 15th from 4 – 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 16th at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church, 910 Birch Street, Boonton.
