I knew Dick as a fellow member of the N J Chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants and also as a fellow Episcopalian. Just by chance I saw the very sad news of his passing because I had grown grew up in Boonton and just saw it in Neighbor News. The last time I saw him was a wonderful occasion, when I visited soon after the move to Mountain Lakes, and we talked about your family, especially your daughter, whom I knew from her wonderful leadership of the youth at St. Peter's. May Dick rest in peace. You all are in my prayers at this very sad time.

Dear Cathy,
Betsy and I were saddened to learn of Dick's passing. We feel privileged to have been his friend. He was a gifted raconteur with an inquisitive mind and a devilish grin.
We will keep him and you in our prayers.

Just wanted to send my condolences to the family. I worked at Victoria Mews as an Activity Associate. He was a very nice man and a true example of a gentleman. Sorry for your loss.

Our thoughts are with Cathy and the family - and especially the grandkids who (I easily imagine) surely loved Dick's playful wit and attentiveness.
Every conversation I had with Dick was delightful. His sense of verbal timing was perfect and he had something interesting to say on every topic! A significant loss.

Family and friends of Dick,
Dick was truly one of a kind. I had the distinct pleasure of serving on the Board of Roman Meal with Dick for many years and he has left a mark on all of us.
Alternately smart and smart-aleck, Dick loved the challenge of a thorny business issue as much as he enjoyed the chance to demonstrate his puck-ish sense of humor. With a contagious laugh, he invited us all to not take things too seriously...just seriously enough.
He had a way of delivering hard news so that we felt the compassion and passion as well as the wisdom and straight talk.
He remains a role model of someone who appreciated his own talents...and his desire to contribute them as best he could.
I can hear his laugh now...
Condolences to all who knew and loved him...especially to Cathy and family,
Jim Motroni and family
