MOUNTAIN LAKES---Lynne (Faylor) Saldutti died Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Morristown Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was 71. Born in Harrisburg, PA, she had lived in Mountain Lakes for 46 years. Mrs. Saldutti earned her BA degree from Duke University in 1961 and worked at Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City until her marriage to Joseph A. Saldutti in 1964. Lynne lived her life selflessly. She was a dedicated and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She lived with an unwavering set of morals throughout her life, and her family will always remember what a remarkably generous and loving person she was. Lynne dedicated much of her time to the Mountain Lakes community, and the school system by serving as a Cub Scout Leader and class mother. She was also active with St. Catherine of Siena Church. In addition, she was a great supporter of Friends of Duke University. Her husband, Joseph A., died in 2004. Surviving are her children, Joseph Jr. of Wilton, Conn, Catherine of New York City, Jeffrey of San Francisco, Sara of Brooklyn; a sister, Beth Dalrymple of Bedford Hills, NY; and her five cherished grandchildren, Joseph, Maria, Anthony, Alana, and Julia. Mrs. Saldutti was a loyal parishioner at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Mountain Lakes, where her Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 10:30 AM with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Friends may visit on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until mass time at Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Ave., Boonton (mackeyfh.com).
