DENVILLE
Gary Lee Pickett died on Monday, October 4, 2010 at St. Clare's Hospital, Denville following a brief illness. He was 66. Born in Morristown he was a resident of Denville for 36 years coming from Montville. Mr. Pickett was a machinist at Automatic Switch Co., in Florham Park before retiring in 2001. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and a member of the Oakland Rod & Gun Club and the NRA.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years - Carolyn A. (Bailey) Pickett, and two daughters: Renee M. Pickett of Denville and Sharon L. Jackson and her husband William of Greendell. A Brother Wayne E. Pickett of Boonton and a sister Marilyn M. Carey of Califon. A granddaughter; Rachel Leigh Jackson and a grandson; William Gary Robert Jackson.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Boonton. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00p.m. at Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Ave., Boonton (Mackeyfh.com) Contributions in Gary's memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
