Obituary of Vasiliki T. Scouras

Vasiliki "Bessie" T. Scouras, of Boonton, NJ, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Holly Manor Care Center in Mendham. She was 90 years old. She was born in Passaic, NJ to her parents, Peter and Lillian Limberis. She was raised in Newark, NJ, she also lived in Samos, Greece and Zambia, South Africa, before moving to Boonton in 1975. In addition to being a "tireless" homemaker, she worked in food service for several years at The Aspen Hotel, The Hilton and Embassy Suites in Parsippany, NJ until her retirement. She was predeceased by her husband, Theodore and her parents. Surviving are her devoted sons, and their wives, Achillefs "Lucky"(Susan), Peter (Mary) and Harry (Doreen); a dear sister Connie Litchfield; also 3 loving grandchildren, Jon and his partner, Kristen Curry, Vasilia Davis and her husband, Mark, Teddy and his wife, Janna; cherished great grandson, Blake; also a niece, Rosanna and nephews, Jimmy and Peter. Family and friends can visit on Tuesday, September 23rd from 4- 8 pm at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, September 24th at 10:00 am in St Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, 1447 Sussex Turnpike, Randolph, NJ 07869.
