JACKSON HEIGHTS, NY---Richard R. Clynes died suddenly, Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at his home following an apparent heart attack. He was 47.
Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Staten Island for 8 years, moving to Jackson Heights 3 years ago.
Mr. Clynes was an inventory clerk with Macy's Herald Square Store, New York NY for the past 26 years and relished his job and co-workers very much.
He was a toy collector (particularly action figures), an avid Yankee fan and a devoted follower of the musical group KISS.
He is survived by a brother, Thomas R. Clynes of Jackson Heights and a twin sister, Linda C. Clynes of Morganville, NJ.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 11th at 12:00 P.M. at the Mackey Funeral Home (mackeyfh.com), 107 Essex Ave., Boonton, NJ 07005 with interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Boonton.
Friends may call beginning at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, prior to the service.
