Marilyn Jean Millison Terhune Marilyn Jean Terhune (nee Millison), 78, of Boonton Township, NJ, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover, NJ following a short illness. Marilyn was born in Passaic, NJ to the late Bert and Mildred Millison. She was raised in Rutherford, NJ before moving to Boonton Township where she lived for 53 years. Marilyn was an administrative assistant for many years in the Parke Davis Division of Warner Lambert. She was active in her community and a longtime member of Rock Ridge Community Club where she organized and participated in many social events and sports. In addition, Mrs. Terhune was a charter member, Trustee, and President of the Historical Society of Boonton Township. She also was actively involved as a member and deacon of the First Presbyterian Church of Boonton. In later years, she enjoyed golf at Peace Pipe Country Club and had a busy social calendar with her "lunch bunch" and her Mah Jongg group. Marilyn was predeceased by her beloved husband of 47 years, Frank Whitfield Laird Terhune, Jr. in 2006. Surviving are her children, Amy Terhune, Todd (Kim) Terhune and Jenny (Kris) Terhune; a brother Bert Millison; and cherished granddaughters Emma and Kate. Family and friends are invited for visiting in the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ on Friday, May 16th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the First Presbyterian Church of Boonton on Saturday, May 17th at 2 pm. Interment will follow at Vail Cemetery, Parsippany, NJ.
