Phyllis Irwin (nee Smith), of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, passed away in her home with her family by her side on Thursday, March 20, 2014.
Phyllis was born and raised in Clifton, NJ. She married, raised a family and has lived in Hasbrouck Heights for 65 years. She enjoyed her home, family and caring for many pets over the years. She was a past member of the Contemporary Club, the Hasbrouck Heights Women's Club and Corpus Christi Church.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George V. Irwin, former Councilman in Hasbrouck Heights.
Surviving are her devoted children, Phyllis Fass and Patricia Sain, and her husband Clyde; 2 loving grandsons Nicholas (Karen) and Patrick (Elizabeth) Fass; 4 cherished great grandchildren, Kaitlin, Nicky, PJ and Maggie; also her compassionate and dedicated caregiver, Yvette.
