MONTVILLE
Rachel A. (nee Sica) Engdahl died peacefully on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at her son's residence in Lafayette. She was 85. Born in West New York, NJ she was a resident of the Lake Valhalla section of Montville since 1965 and she was a secretary at Prudential insurance company in Manhattan, NY for several years. Mrs. Engdahl was a parishioner at St. Pius X Church in Montville.
Her husband Richard M. Engdahl died in 1998.
Survivors include her two sons: Richard M. Engdahl of Foster City, CA and Robert C. Engdahl and his wife Elizabeth of Lafayette. Three grandchildren, Kristina, Julia and Emily.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 8:30 p.m. at Mackey Funeral Home (Mackeyfh.com), 107 Essex Ave., Boonton and the interment will be private.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Contributions in Rachel's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, Northwest NJ Region, 7 Ridgedale Ave, Suite 103, Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
