Lois Louise (nee Wilson) Van Orden died on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at her residence. She was 86. Born in Mountain Lakes she was a resident of Whippany before moving to Cedar Knolls 27 years ago. Her husband, Herbert N. Van Orden, died in 1995, a son Herbert N. Van Orden, Jr. died in 2004 and a grandson, Herbert N. Van Orden, III died in 2000.





Survivors include her two daughters Linda L. Ridner and her husband Vincent of Stillwater and Laurie A. Collins and her husband James of Cedar Knolls. Three Grandchildren; Michael S. Ridner, Joseph L. Van Orden and Kelly A. Stelling. Two Brothers; George Wilson of Wharton and Robert Wilson of Denville.



Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Ave., Boonton (mackeyfh.com) with interment to follow in Rockaway Valley Cemetery, Boonton Township



Friends may visit on Sunday from 2 - 5 pm only. Contributions in Lois' memory may be made to the Cedar Knolls First Aid Squad P.O. Box 82, Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927 or to a charity of your choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
