Richard F. Perrotty, of Boonton, NJ, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2013. He was 88 years old. Dick was born in Newark, NJ and raised in Irvington, NJ. He graduated from Lafayette College, PA with a Bachelors Degree in Economics and later was inducted into the Irvington High School Hall of Fame in 1994. He lived in Mountain Lakes, NJ before moving to Boonton in 1992. Dick was a Lieutenant jg in the US Navy during World War II serving aboard the heavy cruiser Tuscaloosa in the Pacific. His entire business life was dedicated to serving the insurance needs of his clients. He was an avid golfer and former member of the Rockaway River Country Club, Morris County Golf Club, Mid Ocean Golf Club in Bermuda and Pine Valley Golf Club. He had lifetime record of 6 holes in one. Surviving is his beloved wife, of 59 years, Kay (Rorke); devoted children Rick, Pam and her husband Ron Brooks, Craig and his wife Sue, Scott and his wife Joy; loving grandchildren Carlyn, Chelsea and Nick. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Ave., Boonton on Tue., May 28 from 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the King of Kings Lutheran Church on Wednesday, May 29 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Boonton.
