Carol Jane Roessler (Grindle), 80, of Mountain Lakes, NJ, passed away at home on Jan. 16, 2013, surrounded by her loving husband and family.Carol was born in Washingtonville, OH and lived in many places, including Indonesia, Singapore, Great Britain and Belgium before settling in Mountain Lakes 40 years ago. Mrs. Roessler attended Mt. Union College in Alliance, OH. She worked as a secretary at BASF in Mt. Olive, NJ and was secretary to the Abbot at Delbarton School in Morristown. She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Robert C. devoted children Marcie Astin, Lisa Roessler Roy and Jennifer Reid; loving grandchildren Brad, Alex, Ryan, Elizabeth, Madeline, Daniel and Jolene; and cherished great grandchildren Avery, Brady and Ava. She was predeceased by her daughter Nancy Hunt and her brother James Grindle. Visitation will be held on Jan. 21, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Ave, Boonton, NJ.
