Ronald E. Cardone Obituary

BOONTON---Ronald E. Cardone died Friday, November 30, 2012 at Morristown Medical Center following a brief illness. He was 67.



Born in Newark, he was raised in Union and lived in Boonton for the past 35 years.



Ronald worked for Integrity House, a drug and alcohol treatment center, for over 30 years. He helped create and open the Integrity House facility in Secaucus in 1989, which treated tens of thousands of New Jersey residents. He retired, as Vice President, in 2007.



He is survived by his wife and companion of 31 years, Olga (nee Calcado); a son, Michael A. Cardone of Montclair; five daughters, Amber Cardone of Mahwah, April Cardone of Piscataway, Anjelica Cardone of Verona, Alexa Cardone of Boonton and Arielle Cardone of Boonton; a sister, Dolores Billand of Denville and three cherished grandchildren, Kendra Nizza, Dylan Nizza and Joseph Nizza, III.



Memorial visitation, to which all are welcome, will be held on Wednesday, December 5th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Mackey Funeral Home ( www.mackeyfh.com), 107 Essex Ave., Boonton.



All other services and the interment will be private.



Memorial contributions in Ronald's name may be made to the David Gibson Memorial Fund, 139 Old Changebridge Rd., Montville, NJ 07045. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home
