Obituary of William R. Washkau

PARSIPPANY William R. Washkau died on Monday, July 19, 2010 at his residence following a long illness surrounded by his family. He was 80. Born in East Orange he lived in Irvington before moving to Parsippany 50 years ago. He was an electrician for 30 years with the Local # 164 I.B.E.W in Newark before retiring in 1990. He was a parishioner of St. Ann Church in Parsippany, an avid golfer and enjoyed motorcycling. He loved spending time at the Moby Dick, his beach cottage, on the Outer Banks, NC. Survivors include his wife of 58 years G. Evelyn (nee Boyle) Washkau of Parsippany Daughter; Patricia Bujtas and her husband Ron and their children Michael and Jonathan Sons; Michael Washkau and his wife Pam and their children Sarah, Jessie his wife Jane and their daughter Piper William Washkau and his wife Jeanne and their children Victoria, Elizabeth, Jared and Alexandria Christopher Washkau and his wife Lynda and their children Krista, Kyle, Christi and Brittany. Brother; Richard Washkau and his wife Virginia. Predeceased by his sister Lois Cullen. William will be greatly missed my his loving family and his cherished grandchildren. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Ann's Church in Parsippany and the interment will be private.
