Obituary of Onufry Ryzuk

MONTVILLE TOWNSHIP---Onufry Ryzuk died Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at St. Clare's Hospital, Denville following a long illness. He was 80. Born in Mineola, NY, he lived in Montville for the past 47 years. Mr. Ryzuk was the Art Director at Berkeley Books, New York, NY for 10 years before retiring in 1993. Prior to that he had worked in the publishing industry for several companies based in New York. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He attended Cooper Union in New York City. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary (nee Scarfeo); two sons, Regan O. and his wife Emily of Mount Arlington and Mitchell J. and his wife Pamela of Lake Hiawatha and three beloved grandchildren, Ryan, Corey and Mitchell, Jr. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 25th at 8:30 P.M. at the Mackey Funeral Home ( www.mackeyfh.com), 107 Essex Ave., Boonton. The interment will be private. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home
