Family, sorry it has taken me this long to get to respond and to try and offer some comforting words. I attended high school with Herman jr. and Vincent. All I can say is if Herman Sr. was anything like his sons, he must have been a good person. Life is not fair, but all we are to do is to do what Micah 6:8 tells us: to love justice; to cherish loyalty and to be modest in walking with God. If we do those things, we can receive the love that God has for us. How comforting to know that God first loved us even while we are yet sinners. So, we have the hope that Revelation 21:4 gives us, no more pain, sorrow or death. We will get to see our loved one again in the resurrection. What a joyous time.

You have my deepest sympathy. In the Bible, God promises to “wipe out every tear from (our) eyes, and death will be no more.” (Revelation 21:4) Also, he promises that we will soon be able to see our loved ones again since “there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Acts 24:15) May these words bring comfort to all who grieve the loss of Herman L. Wisdom Sr. For more biblical information, please visit www.jw.org or email me personally to Bible.Student.JW.YS@gmail.com
