AIKEN, SC---Lorraine (Duhigg) Wamsley, 84, widow of the late Richard Edward Wamsley, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Brooklyn, NY, Lorraine was the daughter of the late John Duhigg and Elizabeth Gannon Duhigg. She attended St. Mary's Help of Christian Catholic Church. She had resided in Aiken for 5 years and was a homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by many. Survivors include her three daughters, Eileen Glowacki and her husband Bob of Aiken, SC, Gail McQuaid and her husband Joseph of St. Cloud, FL and Barbara Kaminski and her husband Pat of Aiken, SC; five grandchildren, Joseph McQuaid, Jr., Allyson McQuaid Nelson, Keith Kaminski, Jennifer McQuaid and Kevin Kaminski and four great-grandchildren, Jake McQuaid, Mariah Barritta, Emma McQuaid and Michael Nelson. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, April 23rd at 2:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Magnificat Church, Miller Rd., Kinnelon, NJ with interment to follow at the parish cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the church. Memorial contributions in Lorraine's name may be made to either the Aiken Heart Society, 1003 Hammond Rd., Aiken, SC 29803 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN 38105. Local arrangements are by Mackey Funeral Home ( www.mackeyfh.com), 107 Essex Ave., Boonton, NJ.
