Karl-Heinz Wolf Obituary
MOUNTAIN LAKES---Karl-Heinz Wolf died Monday, February 20, 2012 at St. Clare's Hospital, Denville following a sudden heart attack. He was 71.
Born in Stuttgart, Germany, he came to this country in 1974. He lived in Michigan for two years before moving to Mountain Lakes in 1976.
Mr. Wolf was Director of Engineering for BASF Corp., Mount Olive Township for 32 years before retiring in 2001.
He received his master's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Stuttgart.
He was a member of the Jockey Hollow Stamp Club and the Bowling Green Golf Club. He was a rock of love to whom his wife held tight and his sons set anchor to, in this life and continuing into the next.
Karl is survived by his wife of 44 years, Heide (nee Wuensch); two sons, Alexander M. Wolf and his wife Alexis of Steamboat Springs, CO and Matthias Wolf of Rockaway Township; a brother, Paul Wolf of Stuttgart, Germany and three cherished grandchildren, Casey, Matthias and Jordan Wolf.
Memorial services, for all who wish to attend, will be held Thursday, February 23rd at 11:30 A.M. at The Community Church, 48 Briarcliff Rd., Mountain Lakes. The interment will be private and there will be no hours of visitation.
