Regarding a 'candle' that I submitted earlier this evening for the late Margaret Nicholson, I realise I have misspelled the names of Margaret's daughters. Would you kindly change 'Leanne' to 'LeeAnne' and 'Kerry' to 'Kerrie'. Thank you again!

Some of my earliest memories include Margie and her wonderful family: parents Cam and Jean, older brother Jack, lovely twin Ann and little brother Billy. I first met Margie at Rock Chapel Sunday School, then attended Bowman, a one-room school where my mother was the teacher for several years. All the little girls -and boys!- adored Margie. Smart, totally charming and oh so pretty! Jean, her mom, would often host our Young People's church group, at their beautiful farmhouse at the top of Sydenham Mtn. Unfortunately, I gradually lost touch with Margie after her wedding and move to the U.S.
So I was shocked and saddened to hear, just recently, of Margie's passing. As I read the lovely tributes, it is obvious that she became much more than the charming and beautiful young girl! Not surprised as she had an amazing role model in her exceptional mother.
My sincere sympathy to Leanne, Kerry, Jack, Ann and your families as you remember Margie on this anniversary.
I was shocked and saddened to recently hear of Margie's passing.

To my dear friend Marg, we worked together at Owens-Illinois in Toledo from '64-66, and became instant friends. I loved your Canadian words like 'serviette, bigelow, and chesterfield'. I even picked up your accent! What fun times, and wonderful memories! I'll see you in Heaven some day. Love, Ann

I have loving memories of my cousin David Nicholson's beautiful bride Marg Dyment. We connected first by discovering we had Lansdowne neighbours in common, her relatives, the Daltons.Marg was a faithful family member creating newsy funny detailed Christmas letters from New Jersey.
Marg also contributed many delightful stories to "Our
Nicholson Family" book: water balloons in basement, surprise "NIKKI" and Indian Princesses.
Through all this Marg was the best mom ever with her parenting philosophy of support, love and building confidence.
Her memories will always be with you and passed along.Marg is now tucked deeply and safely into your hearts never to be forgotten- LeeAnne and Kerrie.

My sympathy to all of Margaret's family on their loss.
I met Margaret in the summer of 1962 through Ann and a mutual friend. Even though I knew her for only a short time, I still remember clearly her brilliant smile which could light up any room. She had an exceptional personal warmth and a passion and eagerness for the life unfolding before her. No doubt Margaret has passed these traits on to her children and grandchildren.

Dear Marg, I still can't believe it. I was so shocked. I thought you would live forever, you were so full of life. I will always remember the good times we had together, especially our trip to Ireland and the sheep and the skit we put on. We laughed so hard that tears ran down our faces. You will always be in my prayers. Love, Pat

To Kerrie and LeeAnne: I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your sweet mom. It was truly a pleasure to work with her at United Research/Gemini Consulting for many years. And we remained friends since those days.
She was so special because of her personality. Positive, warm, kind, vivacious, gregarious . . . always on the go and always with a twinkle in her eye. Oh, the many laughs we shared over the years! Her greatest joy was the people in her life, and she showed us that time and time again.
A life well lived, and an inspiration to all. Forever young!
I'll remember her fondly and with a smile.

How wonderful to read the tributes pouring in, clearly conveying the simple truth that Marg was one remarkably loving, bright, fun person who made all our lives better. What a blast together in the Holy Land!..and at Kerrie's PA wedding. She was kind, reverent, generous, vivacious, bright and exciting. To know her daughters is to know her. We miss her. Just got the news, and am so saddened to hear. From my earliest memories, Mrs. Nicholson was smiling, kind, sweet, and she had an ability to remember things about each of us (all those summers, by the pool at Rockaway!) that really made me adore her instantly. I am so glad that I know your wonderful family, and to have known her. My deepest condolences, Jack Maypole.

LeeAnne and Kerri - so deeply saddened by the news of your mom's passing. I have so many fond memories of her - of us all together at your house & at Annie's. She was always one of "the gang". I don't think I ever saw her with anything but a smile on face and kind words for everyone. I remember a few occasions laughing with her - so hard and so long it produced tears and "happy" stomach pain. She will be greatly missed but her memories will always make me smile. I pray the Lord brings you comfort and strength during this difficult time. My heart goes out to you and your families.

Her positive view about people and things were always inspiring and uplifting. She never seemed to want to be a burden on anyone.
