Mark W. Wilson of Boonton died on February 9, 2012. He was 53. Born in Columbus, Georgia he lived in Mountain Lakes before moving to Boonton 19 years ago. He was a 1976 graduate of Mountain Lakes High School and later earned his bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from N.J.I.T. Mark was employed as a manager of trader voice operations at Hewlett Packard in New York. He was honored for is volunteer work and commitment to the foster care of kittens. Mark was also an avid reader, skier, origamist and animal lover. He was a loving husband and father and will be greatly missed by his wife of 23 years Raene L (Reiter) Wilson, a daughter; Ariel and a son; Rhys of Boonton; a brother: Eric J. Wilson, his wife Kathy and their daughters Emily and Claire of Boonton and a sister; Alisa J. Korunow, her husband John and their children Stephanie, Evan and Zoe of Westfield; and his mother: Joyce B. Wilson of Mountain Lakes. Mark's father; Paul Lewis Wilson, died in 2007. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM at Mackey Funeral Home (Mackeyfh.com), 107 Essex Ave., Boonton. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Boonton. Contribution's in Mark's memory may be made to the Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter 194 Route 10, E. Hanover, NJ 07936. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
