Jim was and always will be one of most wonderful person that my wife Mary and I have ever associated with. I met Jim as a Sandoz/Novartis associate. Our ski trips, bowling, lazer tag, yankee baseball games etc. are my best memories of my life. Our group “Ducks” will live forever. Send my love to Nadine and family

My deepest sympathy to Gary and family of Jim Mogenland. My dad, Alfie Holm also sends his condolences as well. He regrets he could not attend the service as he is now living in Barnegat and can not get around to good. He was very sadden at hearing of Jim's passing. I remember Jim from my childhood when my parents would visit with Jim's family, we would play together while the adults talked. Our thoughs and prayers are with his family. With deepest sympathy, Karen and Alfie and the rest of the Holm family.

Dear Jim,
Although an ocean apart we were far closer than we could imagine. We share the Morgenland legacy, the humor and even an uncanny resemblance. I do feel you are the brother I never had and you felt the same way about Christiaan as well. I enjoyed being around you although that was limited in frequency. You touched me when you called to say you were sorry when I lost my mother. You were there to pick me up from the airport when I was in town. We went to see the Nerds, the Twin Towers, Bruce Springsteen, Jersey Shores. The Hard Rock cafe together with your father. I took you to Paris to have a peak at the old world together with Nadine, see the Louvre and climb some buildings. See the science museum Centre Pompidou. You were impressed. It was topped only by Brugge in Belgium an medieval city to see the first Hospital. You talked of the Internet, CD-ROMs things we hadn't heard of. Ahead of you time, yes I know. Bit to soon to go to eternity we will follow I know. I hope I still have time. Wait for me out there I know that a lot of loving relatives will take care of you. You won't be afraid that is for sure. A big thank you for the lady that gave you your kidney and many happy years more than you expected. I know you will live on through your sons which if they turn out to be half of you will bring joy to many. I was fortune to know you and be your cousin. Thanks Jim you will live on in my hart. Godspeed Jimbo !!!!

The world has lost an innocent soul. Jim inspired me and many others - he lived as a "True Friend." A person who always genuinely cared for others and lived his life in the present. He reached out to so many and brought people together.
He planned the camping trip where I met my husband Bruce, which is now bittersweet because Bruce and I are separated. My life over the past few years was reduced to depression, also desperation over my marriage. I regret I have not kept in touch with Jim but I know he understands...
Jim you are a "life force" and will be greatly missed. I take with me your priceless example of what makes a true friend.

I miss Jim. I will remember him, always as a guy who lived his life with others. He never was at a loss for what the next social gathering will be. In the span of my career; Over the decades, I was thankful for his watchful and generous eye. May Jim party on. The world is a finer place for having been smart enough to bring us Jim .

Optimism. That's a word that first jumps to mind when you think of Jim. No matter what adversity befell him throughout his life, he somehow found a way through it. Considering the never ending battles with illness I never saw bitter. He might have a down day but it never pulled him to despair. He was an inspiration to many and will be sorely missed.

To the Morgenland and Zeronski Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. While I met only Jim once, I heard so many great stories about him from his sister Joyce. He was a very strong, loving person who loved life to the fulliest. I know that he was also loved very much by his family.
My prayers and thoughts will be with you through this difficult time. Jim will be with you in your heart and through all the fond memories that you have.
Love,
Barbara Begyn and family

Jim was a good friend to me when we worked at Sandoz. His sense of humor and fun loving nature captured the hearts of everyone who worked with him. He could turn a rainy day into sunshine with his smile and if you had a question about anything he'd find the answer even up until a few weeks ago when I placed a question about computers on facebook. He looked it up and answered my question. Rest in Peace Jim!!!! You'll be missed by all.

I met Nadine when I worked at Johnson & Higgins back in the late 80's early 90's. We quickly became friends and shared a lot of fun times. While we moved back to CT Nadine and I remained close. I fondly remember attending her and Jim's wedding; it was quite a time. My thoughts and prayers are with the family, may God watch over them and help them in this time of need.

Dear Nadine and family,
I am so saddened to hear of Jim's passing - and still can't believe it.
Jim and I worked together and were in a number of ERG and D&I groups together. He was such a wonderful person and I truly enjoyed working with him. It was always fun to have conversations and he was such a great idea and resource person. I will truly miss him much.
I know there isn't much that I can say to relieve your sadness and pain but I just wanted to let you know how much I and many many others really enjoyed knowing and working with Jim and how much we will miss him.
Thinking of you and your family.
Sincerest Regards,
Denise
