ROCKAWAY TOWNSHIP---Helmut Kulik died Monday, January 16, 2012 at Morristown Medical Center following a brief illness. He was 79.
Born in Wilhelmstadt, Germany he came to this country in 1956, living in Paterson, Montville and Boonton before moving to Rockaway Township 42 years ago.
Mr. Kulik was a machinist/welder with Carlson Tool Co., Pine Brook for 35 years before retiring in 1997.
His daughter, Karen, died in 1988.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Graciela (nee Mercado); two sons, Orloff of Las Vegas, NV and Christopher of Orlando, FL; three grandchildren, Madison, Brianna and Ciarra and four siblings, Sabina and Ziggy both of Germany and Edith and Elsbeth, both of Montville.
The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, January 19th at 1:00 P.M. at St. Cecelia's RC Church, Rockaway. The interment will be private. Friends may call Wednesday from 7-9 PM only at the Mackey Funeral Home (mackeyfh.com), 107 Essex Ave., Boonton
