BOONTON---Mary E. (Hull) James died Friday, December 16, 2011 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover following a brief illness. She was 80.



Born in Morristown, she lived in Boonton since 1972. She graduated from Morristown High School in 1949.



Mrs. James was the manager of accounts receivable with the Five Star Group, Hanover before retiring in 1995.



Mary was a lifelong car enthusiast and an avid motorcyclist, riding for over 60 years. She was a member of, and rode with, the Recycled Teenagers Club of northern New Jersey.



She is survived by a son, Curtis A. James, Jr. and his wife Cathleen of Boonton; a daughter, Tina E. Buch of Round Rock, TX; a sister, Dorothy Smith of Florham Park and four cherished grandchildren, Holland, Perry, Nicole and Kacy.



Our mother raised us to become the loving, caring people we are today. We invite all of her family and friends to join us in the celebration of our loving mother's life on Sunday, December 18th from 2-5 PM only at the Mackey Funeral Home (mackeyfh.com), 107 Essex Ave., Boonton. All other services and the interment will be private.



Memorial contributions in Mary's name may be made to the Boonton Kiwanis Ambulance Service, P.O. Box 16, Boonton, NJ 07005. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home
