MONTVILLE TOWNSHIP---Hildegard E. (Teufer) Baldwin died Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover following a brief illness. She was 87. Born in Bertha, Minnesota, she lived in Boonton for many years before moving to Montville in 1957. She graduated from Boonton High School in 1941. Mrs. Baldwin was a clerical worker at Thermal American Fused Quartz Co., Montville for 22 years before retiring in 1988. Following her retirement she worked part-time at the Mountain Lakes Public Library. She was a 60-year member of the Boonton United Methodist Church and at one time was active with the Montville Senior Citizens. Her husband, Lawrence W., died in 2002. She was also predeceased by her sister, Elfrieda Foley. She is survived by a son, Daniel R. Baldwin and his wife Andrea of Netcong and a daughter, Ellen S. Baldwin of Denville. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 14th at 8:30 P.M. at the Mackey Funeral Home (mackeyfh.com), 107 Essex Ave., Boonton. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-9 PM only at the funeral home. The interment will be private at the Boonton Cemetery Association, Boonton. Memorial contributions in Hildegard's name may be made to either Compassionate Care Hospice, 140 Littleton Rd., Suite 200, Parsippany, NJ 07054 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Tribute Program, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-1942. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home
