Maria Apostolidis, 93, of Boonton, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.

Maria (Marika) was born to Efstratios and Despina Kotsialiotis in Pylori, Greece in July of 1929. She immigrated with her husband and children to the United States in 1972, where she worked tirelessly to ensure her children could have a good life.

She enjoyed tending her garden, knitting clothes for her grandchildren, sipping afternoon coffee with friends, and sharing home cooked meals with her family. Above all else, Marika was a kind and loving person who dedicated her life to caring for others. She was a mother to countless people, and her nurturing spirit will be sorely missed.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Antonios, and her cherished children, Ioannis (Vanos) and Maria (Maritsa), she is survived by her grandchildren, Gregory, Antonios, Stavroula, Christopher, Stephanie, and Petros.

Marika will be welcomed into God’s presence at the funeral service Monday, July 3rd at 10:30am in St. Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Church in Randolph. Visitation will start at 9:30am until the service begins. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery in Dover. Services were provided by Codey & Mackey Funeral Home of Boonton.
