Please share a memory of Dorman to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Dorman Franklin Craig, AKA Poppy, 95, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home.

Mr. Craig proudly served in the US Navy – Sea Bees during World War II.

After returning home, the GI bill provided him the ability to attend Montclair State Teachers College. Upon graduating with a Masters Degree in Education, Dorman taught English at Bloomfield South Jr. and then became the Vice Principal until retiring in 1985. With never ending energy, he continued working, until 2013, as owner/operator of his home improvement company, "Premier Service".

Born in Blairstown, NJ to Horace and Margurite Craig, Dorman lived most of his life in Verona, a short time in Florida, and finally coming back and settling in Morris County.

He was a devoted member of his church, First Presbyterian of Verona, as a deacon, elder and clerk of Session until 2016.

Dorman loved his family, welcoming any and all to holiday celebrations, especially to the games on New Year's Eve!! The consummate "master of ceremonies" he continually found new games to play and tricky trivia questions to ask!!!

Dorman now dances in Heaven with his wife of 53 years, Connie Neumann (AKA Ging)

He leaves behind two loving daughters, Donna DiBernard and Sandi Craig; their chirldren and grandchildren.
