John C. Mostwill, 70, of Boonton, NJ, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018 after a brief illness.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ on Friday, December 28th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm when a service will be held. Born in Newark, NJ to the late Marvin and Gabrielle (Farrell) Mostwill, John was raised in West Caldwell and lived in Boonton for the past 30 years.
He retired from the Public Works Department in the Township of West Caldwell after 32 years of service.
John was a kind and gentle man who loved his family. He also enjoyed antique cars and oldies music.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Edda (Pena); daughters, Lisa Beasley and Aimee Mostwill; dear brother, Jeff Mostwill and his wife, Maureen; also 3 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
