Obituary of Nancy Alice Stamelos
Nancy Alice Stamelos, of Lincoln Park, NJ, peacefully passed on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. She was 81 years old.
Nancy was raised in Lincoln Park, NJ, she was the daughter of Earl and Helen (Vogel) Mathews. She married James Stamelos and together they raised their family in Boonton before moving to Lincoln Park in 1982.
Surviving are her beloved husband, James; devoted children, James Burdett, Diane Stamelos, Carol Stamelos-Noonan and Helen Stamelos; loving grandchildren, Demitri Stamelos, Brandon, Brenda, and Brody Burdett.
She was predeceased by her grandson, Brian Burdett, sister, Joan Burns and son-in-law, George Meyers.
The family will receive friends at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ on Sunday, July 22nd from 1-5 pm. Services will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 226 Cornelia Street, Boonton, NJ on Monday, July 23rd at 10:00 am. The interment will follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa, NJ.
