Our deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers are with the Korinda family at this time. We will never forget all the wonderful times we spent with Ann and her family over the years. We can never thank you enough for all the special times and the caring Ann showed to our family. I will always remember introducing Ann as Lisa’s “adopted grandmother”. Living so far away from family, it was always nice to be able to think of Ann and Andy as extended family. There was another home in NJ where we could be assured acceptance and feel welcomed. Ann was truly a kind and generous woman who gave from her heart. Ann and the entire Korinda family’s positive impact on our family cannot be measured and we will always be grateful for the love shown to Lisa.

The Wiedmann family offers our prayers for Mrs. Korinda and her family. The longstanding friendship with our family is greatly appreciated and we enjoyed their company and visits to Rehoboth Beach. I appreciated her calls, since my parents passing, to keep up with what is going on in our lives and her life. She will be missed and fondly remembered.

I am sad to hear of Mrs Korinda’s passing. She was such a sweet lady who would call me and share stories about the adventures she and her husband and my in-laws had together in the past. She always made a point of checking up on my husband when she heard he had a medical life changing event. I was so touched by her kindness and concern and the stories about the “boys who got into so much” .. when they were younger!!
True of heart she was.. and I only ever met her by phone but I could tell !!! Bless her family who she loved dearly!

Ann was always a welcome friend and visitor to the Dryzga family for many summers here in Maine. Ann and Andy are both fondly remembered for their grace and friendship during their visits to Saturday Pond and Great Oaks.

Mrs. Korinda was my 4th grade teacher in 1970 or so. I loved that class. I remember the apple dolls, and trips to exotic destinations. We would make passports, line the chairs up as if in an airplane, and fly around the world. Eating foods of the country and exploring its history. And I remember lining up to leave at the end of class. Mrs. Korinda would ask, "Who had steak for dinner last night?" and those kids would line up. Then she would ask the next question. Different ways to let different kids line up first. And our hands and fingernails had to be clean to leave class. Here we are, so many years later, and our hometown Facebook page is bursting with memories of her. She touched a lot of lives.

My condolences to the Korinda family. I was fortunate to be a student of hers at Wildwood School for fourth grade. Her love of teaching was evident by how many of us loved having her. May she Rest In Peace.
