Obituary of Anna Passione

Anna Angelina Passione (nee Scotto), aged 86, died peacefully on December 6, 2017 in her home in Lakewood, NJ. Anna was born on October 11, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Felice Scotto and Maria Ambrosino. In 1954, Anna married the love of her life, Anthony Passione and together they raised 4 children Anna's faith was especially important to her and she passed this down to her family. Her other loves were music and her 3 beautiful grandchildren. Although very sick Anna would light up and open her eyes if one of them was near. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Anna was a lifelong member of Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary parish in Brooklyn, NY and in later years at St. Dominic's in Lakewood, NJ. Anna is survived by her husband Anthony of 63 years, daughters LuAnn and Marie, her son Vincent and wife Terry and 2 granddaughters, Maura & Deirdre and daughter Felicia and husband Robert and grandson Zachary. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Anthony and Nicholas Scotto. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 8th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ 07005 (www.codeymackeyfh.com). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 9th at Noon in St. Catherine of Siena R.C. Church, 10 N. Pocono Road, Mountain Lakes, NJ 07046. The interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in E. Hanover, NJ.
