Russell H. Worden, 85, of Montville, NJ, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017.
Born and raised in Montville, Russell lived most of his life in his hometown. He was the son of the late Harold and Esther (Staeger) Worden.
Mr. Worden proudly served in the US Air Force and was a decorated veteran who served during the Korean War.
He was an inspector at Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway, NJ for 35 years before his retirement in 1985.
In addition to his parent's he was predeceased by his son, Russell H. Worden, Jr. He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Debbie Worden.
Services honoring Russell's memory will be held at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ 07005 on Friday, June 23, 2017 with visitation from 10 – 11 am, followed by a service at 11:00 am. The interment with Military Honors will follow at Rockaway Valley Cemetery in Boonton Township, NJ.
