Frederick George Cope, Jr., 72, of Dover, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016.
Fred was born in Orange, NJ to Frederick and Myrtle Cope. He was raised in Parsippany, NJ where he lived most of his life before moving to Dover 4 years ago.
Mr. Cope was an offset printer for 37 years at Redmond Press in Denville, NJ, retiring in July of 2002.
Throughout his life he was an avid Yankee and NY Giant fan. He also enjoyed traveling and dining in his favorite restaurants.
He is survived by his companion, Susan Lee and a sister, Susan Cope of Berkeley Springs, WV.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 20th from 4-8pm in the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ. Funeral Services will be on Friday, October 21st at 11:00am in the funeral home. The interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover, NJ.
